Small Press Nite vol. 13

Coming this Saturday

Hey all—

We’ll be getting back to the regularly scheduled monthly recommendations in February. In the meantime, we thought you should know about this coming weekend’s SMALL PRESS NITE vol. 13, aka the most important literary event in San Diego since Kathy Acker was depressed in Solana Beach.

Visiting from L.A. will be Kyle Kouri (new book with CLASH out in June) and Shy Watson (HOUSE OF VLAD, banger story in a recent Southwest Review). And, hey, I’ll be there (it’s me, it’s Kevin—back from 6+ months in the wilderness) reading a new story. But the real princes of the night are Tex Gresham and KKUURRTT, who’ll be celebrating their recently released romp POP!
